Brooke Thompson, RN

I came in with horrible abdominal pain. I was sad and so scared. Brooke was my nurse three nights in a row. She alleviated the trauma I was experiencing. She went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and my needs were met.

When I cried from the pain, she held my hand to boost my spirits. Her kind words let me know everything was going to be okay. I also had to undergo three procedures, and she made sure that she was with me so that I wasn't feeling alone.

There were many times when I wanted to leave AMA, and she made sure I stayed and received the care I needed. Now I have been here 24 weeks, and I am feeling great. I owe all of this to Brooke. She is really saving lives!
