As a person with extreme anxiety regarding medical procedures, I arrived as a nervous, scared wreck for my outpatient surgery. My nurse, Brooke immediately saw my condition. She showed compassion, understanding, and gentleness while she prepped me for surgery. Without sounding too corny, but being truthful, she was an angel to me, and I knew I was in good hands.
After surgery I was awakened by Brooke, and her caring approach. This young lady exemplifies the honor of being a caring nurse. I would not have made it through the procedure as relaxed without her.
