On one of the worst days of my life, I had Brooke by my side. Brooke is a "one of a kind" person. She was such a caring and patient nurse, who made me feel so comfortable while I was in her care. Brooke made an unbearable situation, almost fun and a memory that will stick in my mind. Brooke was an outstanding nurse.
I truly, truly believe that her kindness is what saved me. Something in her way of being put me at ease. If it wasn't for the significant pain, I would do it all over again to have her as my nurse again. I was in excruciating pain - she played MY music to help distract me. She changed everything in me to get me through this horrible time. In fact, on the survey choices of 1-5, I added my own section so I could give her 6's because 5 wasn't good enough.
