My husband was in the hospital and in my opinion, he was given good care, but nothing was being done by nurses or doctors to save my husband’s life, they were just making him comfortable. She became his nurse on that morning, she read his case and got involved and by that afternoon she had a doctor reviewing my husband’s case. She made some changes (with doctors’ orders of course) and he started to improve. The next day he was alert. She made these positive changes during my husband’s hospital stay. She got him going in a positive direction not just keeping him comfortable. I truly believe she saved his life. She personally called the doctor. She believed he deserved exceptional care and she went out of her way to give it. She kept me informed every step of the way. She was bubbly, fun, and brutally honest when she had to be. She encouraged my husband and me to not give up hope. She is a great nurse and deserves to be recognized.
