I would like to recommend Brooks for the DAISY award recognizing exceptional nursing care and service.
Brooks was the very first face we saw when we arrived at the ICU, and from that moment on, he made an incredibly stressful and frightening situation feel more manageable. He was consistently friendly, gentle, and kind, and his calm presence immediately put our family at ease.
As the night nurse, Brooks went above and beyond to ensure my mom was able to get as much rest as possible. Even while completing the necessary checks and responsibilities of his role, he was thoughtful, quiet, and respectful, always prioritizing her comfort and dignity. It was clear that he truly cared, not just about doing his job well, but about the person he was caring for.
Brooks’ compassion, professionalism, and genuine empathy made a lasting impact on our family during a very difficult time. He represents the very best of what nursing care should be, and I believe he is more than deserving of recognition for his outstanding service.
