Bruno goes out of his way to assist and build staff not only in his own department but in every department in the hospital. Giving up his holidays, weekends, and days off to fill staffing needs in the ER, House Supervisor office, and IV team without ever complaining.

Always goes above and beyond what is expected! He’s served numerous roles in the hospital and does exceptionally well at everything he does.

Carries a “patient first” attitude and teaches others to do the same! Bruno leading by example has completely turned the ER night shift into a beacon of excellence that the hospital can be proud of by developing a compass for others to be guided by. He has done an extraordinary job in growing and changing the culture and mindset of the department he manages. He has a “lead by example” approach in helping others grow! He has a way of bringing out the best in staff with his calm and selfless demeanor that trickles down through staff and affects how patients are cared for and see the work they provide.

Works alongside staff whenever needed, always in the trenches with them. Not only tells them, but shows as an example, in how to better themselves and take great care of their patients. He always presents himself as professional and carries himself in a way that patients feel confident in his care and articulates his abilities and knowledge in a way that defines what a nurse should be. By far, one of the best leaders and nurses in our hospital! Always strives to do better and encourages others to do the same.
