Bryan Guzman, BSN, RN

Bryan goes above and beyond every shift to provide exemplary care to his patients. When rounding on patients he is always the nurse that patients mention. They even remember him from previous admissions and request that he be their nurse again. All of his patients always report how kind he is. His calming demeanor is infectious not only to his patients but also to the entire unit. He goes above and beyond to help his peers. He is known to be in nearly every room on the unit throughout his shifts helping other nurses and PCTS.

Recently one of our nurses attended a patient's funeral. Afterward brought this recognition to our attention. At the funeral, the daughter spoke in front of all the attendees. She mentioned that they were so thankful for the care their family member received at IMCU. Unbeknownst to Bryan, they spoke of how wonderful he was to their father. They noted that he was able to make a connection with their father unlike anyone else. They said that they will be forever grateful to him. This is just one testament to the lasting impression Bryan leaves on his patients.
