Bryana is an extraordinary nurse whose compassion and heart shine in everything she does. She goes above and beyond not only for her patients, but also for children facing critical illnesses through her incredible support of Make-A-Wish North Dakota. Not only is Bryana a referral source to our foundation, but she is also a volunteer wish-granter and a wish mom! Despite her busy schedule, Bryana takes the time to learn what qualifies a child for a wish and how to complete the referral process—simply because she cares that deeply. Because of nurses like her, our chapter reached a record-breaking 91 qualified wish kids this past year, with nearly half of those referrals coming from RNs. Bryana personally helped make this milestone possible, playing a role in the most wishes granted in our 40-year history. She submitted qualifying referrals for 23 children! She also appeared on ND Today in support of Make-A-Wish, sharing her story as a wish mom and referral source. Families describe Bryana as caring, friendly, and personable. She is the nurse every parent hopes for—someone who listens, advocates, and gives her whole heart to those in her care. Her reliability, compassion, and commitment to keeping our kids medically safe on their wish trips are truly exceptional. The world needs more nurses like Bryana—those who lead with empathy, act with integrity, and bring hope to every life they touch. She is so deserving of this recognition and of every bit of gratitude that comes her way.
