My pain was intolerable at times post-surgery. I had put my call light on for a second time, with my pain at a nine, when Bryce came in. Even though he wasn’t my nurse, he asked what I needed and looked in my chart for what I could have. He was back in moments to provide the relief. What an angel! He then brought me water. We visited for a few minutes about our backgrounds, which were very similar. He said he would be back to check on me. I started resting and pretty soon he came back and asked if the pain was subsiding. I told him it was. I don’t know what I would have done if he hadn’t answered my light! I thank the Lord for nurses who are willing to step up to help! That young man is a prince of a guy!
