I was scheduled for a lumbar puncture on Friday. I had one done at another facility previously and it was a terrible experience from the procedure to the spinal fluid leak. I was extremely nervous about getting another one done. Bryce was incredible in educating us on the procedure, explaining the method, and taking great care in her attention and intentions. She was as gentle as humanly possible and explained everything that she was doing so there were no surprises. It was a completely different experience from what I had before, from start to finish. I did not get a lumbar puncture headache either. If I ever need another LP, I will probably fly back to Mayo Scottsdale for it.
