Bryce demonstrated extraordinary, compassionate care without hesitation. Bryce stepped in to help with a complicated admission. He sat by the patient’s side to complete admission paperwork, did dressing changes, and helped to turn, clean, and change the patient, all without being asked. He was an incredible leader, making sure that anything I needed help with was completed to make sure the patient received timely and thorough care. Without him going the extra mile, the patient care would have been delayed simply due to the number of tasks that needed to be completed. He even went to the pharmacy after his shift was over to retrieve medication and stayed to make sure the oncoming shift did not need help with the patient. What an amazing example of a nurse and leader!
