March 2026 Honoree
Bryson Ogden, BSN, RN
I would like to nominate Bryson for the DAISY Award in recognition of the outstanding care he provided as my night nurse. Bryson was exceptional in the way he advocated for me, consistently ensuring that my needs were met and—just as importantly—that I never felt guilty or hesitant for asking for what I needed. His presence was calming, reassuring, and deeply supportive during a vulnerable time.
One of the most impressive aspects of Bryson’s care was his role as a teacher and mentor. He worked alongside a new nurse with patience, clarity, and encouragement, modeling excellent clinical judgment, professionalism, and compassionate care. Watching him teach while simultaneously providing attentive, thoughtful care was truly inspiring. I was blown away by Bryson’s professionalism, but equally by his warmth and kindness. He struck a rare balance between clinical excellence and genuine human connection. He made me feel safe, heard, and respected throughout the night. As a nurse myself, I recognize how special this level of care is. Bryson is truly one of a kind and exemplifies the very best of nursing.
