I came in for several things including chest pain, severe full-body hives, and a very recent hip replacement which was also done at Liberty Hospital. While I had amazing staff during my stay, Buffy really shined and stood out to me. She went above and beyond by advocating for me to get the sleep I needed after a 5-day no sleep week! She also advocated for me to get on a medication regimen to help with the hives I’ve been suffering from, as well as ulcer pain I was dealing with due to the treatment for my hives. She took her time when she spoke with me. She replaced an IV that was very uncomfortable that I’d had for a few days. The one she placed is virtuously painless. Buffy’s attention to detail and kind heart allowed my symptoms to get better. Getting the sleep I needed was a game changer for me and I believe I’m finally going home today! I am truly grateful for her compassion, and overall concern for not just me, but all of her patients. Liberty is lucky to have Buffy as one of their nurses.
