From the moment we came onto the floor from ER, Bullet was the best nurse I have come across. He discussed the plan of care for my mom; situated us in the room; he was available for every single task and explained to us before intervening. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, respectful, and most of all, kind and caring. Mom came in with severe short of breath and weight loss. He went all the way to another unit at 10pm to find her something warm to eat. He let us rest and scheduled all activities in a way that mom got uninterrupted rest. He is energetic, respectful and went all of his way to care for my mom. I was humbled when he walked into the room and covered me with a blanket because it was cold. What an amazing nurse. This is what nurses are and he is a great one!

From Bullet's Nurse Manager, Tanya Haight:
Bullet is the kind of nurse who makes a difference to his patients, their families and to the Pulmonary unit he works on. He is an enthusiastic advocate for his patients and encourages them to participate actively in their plan of care. By doing so, he empowers both them and their families to make challenging decisions, voice their concerns and ask questions. His natural curiosity drives him to find better and more efficient ways of doing things and to identify areas for improvement in his own practice and on the unit. Not only does he bring to my attention those things that need to be addressed on the unit, he is willing to do the work to make it happen. He is not afraid of a challenge and embraces the opportunity to grow and learn through experience, using humor to deal with the difficult experiences. Bullet doesn't settle for "good enough;" he strives for excellence and this translates into the compassionate and competent care he provides for his patients. As his Educator back when he was a New Resident, I saw in him the potential to become a great nurse and I'm grateful now that he's our extraordinary nurse!
