My dad had triple bypass surgery. He had not had any surgery in his life. Not knowing what to expect post-op, we received this nurse. He explained everything well and was attentive to my daddy’s every need. Not only my dad but my mother as well. My dad had done his daily walk quota. My children came to the lobby, and without hesitation, he offered to bring my dad to the waiting room for my dad to see his grandchildren. Keep in mind, my dad is hooked up to 3 chest tubes, and tons of other things. He loaded everything up in a wheelchair and walked my dad to see his grandchildren. I’m sure he had many other things he needed to do, but he made that priority! Thank you for being the experience and thank you for being the definition of an excellent nurse!
