Byron displayed compassion by talking to him as a man and expressing his concern for his feelings.
When Bryon arrived at our home, I felt that I was on a tight rope that was ready to pop. I had never been responsible for my husband’s medication or as a caregiver 24/7. My husband is a Korean War veteran age 85 with numerous health, memory, and control issues. Byron displayed compassion by talking to him as a man and expressing his concern for his feelings. He explained to my husband that he was not giving up his control only that his wife was needed to provide his medication daily and on time. That this was necessary due to his OD on medication twice resulting in hospitalization. Besides communicating with his doctor, Byron makes sure all his medication is refilled and performs his duties to his patient. He listens to you and contacts you if running late. He respects our time and is very considerate. To receive Bryon into our home was a breath of fresh air.
