I had an outpatient surgery on Friday, and it just so happened to fall on the one-year anniversary of my dad's passing. Needless to say, I was nervous and emotional walking into that hospital. It felt like way too much to carry in one day. But then, I met Cadyn. From the moment she stepped into my room, she made me feel safe. She had this energy that instantly calmed my nerves. She kept me smiling, laughing, and distracted in all the best ways, before and after the surgery. It didn't feel like I was just another patient to her. Her kindness, patience, and bright spirit reminded me that people like her are truly a gift. Cadyn wasn't just a nurse that day. She was exactly what I needed at exactly the right time. I hope she knows how much of a difference she made for me and that she has a new fan for life. Everyone deserves a Cadyn when they're going through something hard.
