My mother was a patient several times over the last year at St. Vincent's Riverside and we formed such an amazing bond with the nurses on 5North dayshift. My mother recently passed away and I just couldn't get my mind off how much I appreciated these girls. After we could no longer receive care and had to be put in community hospice, they still stayed in touch and saw her on their own time as she entered hospice. They also attended my mother's funeral. The care they provided was absolutely amazing. I just can't say enough about the compassion these girls gave my mother and I. During each of her stays they always went above and beyond for me as well. I am disabled and in a wheelchair, they were always making sure I was comfortable as well. Thank you, Caitlin and Christina, for the amazing care you provided my mother.
