Following the unplanned complexities of my son's birth, I feel compelled to express my sincere gratitude and nominate Caitlin from Labor and Delivery for the DAISY Award. Her exceptional care significantly impacted my experience. From the outset, Caitlin's dedication to ensuring my comfort and understanding was remarkable. The unexpected challenges during labor were eased by her unwavering support and encouragement. As a first-time parent, I felt completely unprepared, but Caitlin patiently and thoroughly explained all my options at every stage, providing clarity and reassurance amidst uncertainty. Her cheerful demeanor and genuine compassion were truly uplifting. Her commitment to her profession and her evident care for her patients were inspiring. Caitlin's prompt assistance with my needs, combined with her thoughtful gesture of visiting my family in recovery to offer well wishes, solidified my belief that she embodies the highest standards of nursing excellence. Her actions went above and beyond the call of duty, creating a profoundly positive experience during a pivotal moment in my life.
