The surgeon admitted me due to unknown post-op blood pressure and dizziness issues. Caitlin seemed to take this as a challenge to find out what was the cause. She called labs and the hospitalist repeatedly to get follow-up information to me. Due to the hernia surgery pain, she offered to get things for me so I would not have to move. When a treatment plan was created, Caitlin carefully reviewed notes on my chart to decipher all of the doctor's directives. She was so busy, I said she should wear roller skates. Caitlin said someone else told her the same thing only minutes earlier. Each night, she worked past her shift to maintain coverage, she was always happy, and not complaining.
