Caitlin had a Spanish-speaking patient who was ready to discharge. She had a lot of discharge instructions and also wanted her medical records printed, which we know can be a long, difficult process. Caitlin took the time to HANDWRITE all of the discharge instructions and other info in Spanish for the patient to understand. This is such an example of going above and beyond. Caitlin did not HAVE to do this; she wanted to because she truly cares so much. Now, this patient will have the opportunity to have an easy discharge process and a better chance of a smooth recovery. Caitlin is an amazing nurse!
