February 2018 Honoree
caitlin mccomish, RN
I was admitted for a migraine that nothing was taking care of. On Saturday, which was my 3rd day at the hospital, it finally broke. It was also my school's homecoming dance and Caitlin knew I was not getting released. She did my hair all pretty after my shower, put flowers in it, made a dress out of a hospital gown and a corsage and a boutonniere out of some fake flowers. All the nurses came and danced with us. She played music and gave me and my boyfriend our own homecoming. It meant so much to me! She was awesome the whole shift.
Thank you, Caitlin, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
