I am an 88 year old female retired O.R. nurse and chose Jupiter Medical Center when I experienced excruciating abdominal pain. I was transported by ambulance to your facility where I was diagnosed with SBO. An NG was inserted and I was admitted. The nursing staff was outstanding, but one in particular- Caitlin O'Connor, is the embodiment of what every nurse should strive for. The 6 C's of Nursing Care, Compassion, Commitment, Courage, Communication and Competence. I was so sick and she had an obvious desire to help comfort me while giving the best nursing care. She also provided support for my family. One morning when she came on she found me in such a mess, she immediately gave me something for pain and cleaned me up, being ever so careful to cause the least amount of discomfort for me. I would love to see a whole hospital of Caitlin's she is one of the best.
