I was induced early Thursday and was experiencing a very hard labor including back labor. Caitlin Pribble took over at 7 PM. At that point, I was in so much pain and didn't know how I was going to get through it. She went above and beyond the entire time. She communicated continually everything that was going on. I had problems with my epidural, blood pressure, baby's heart rate, etc. and Caitlin continued to use critical thinking the entire time. I was absolutely terrified and frustrated, asking tons of questions, and she always had an answer and kept me staying positive and calm the entire time. She coached me through every step of this very painful, yet amazing experience. She left my side very few times and my mother and sister didn't even think she ate once. Her shift ended at 7 AM and she stayed through the delivery. She was still here helping out at 8:30 AM. She wrote "Happy Birthday" immediately on the board for my baby. I honestly don't know how I would have made it through the night without her. She did that amazing of a job. I feel she should be recognized for going above and beyond. She made me feel like my situation meant more to her than just a job that she does every day. She is a wonderful nurse, and I'm so happy her name is on my baby's birth certificate as I leave Community Hospital North. Thank You!
