Caitlin Reid, CCRN, TNCC, BSN, RN
I was in the ICU for four days; I was scared, alone and in so much pain that I couldn't quit crying. Caitlin did not leave my bedside. She held me, rubbed my back, wiped my hair out of my face, and washed me with a cold washcloth to calm me down. She consoled me with her kind words. Caitlin insisted I be seen again by the doctor, which I was, and given additional pain medication. Caitlin went above and beyond for me, and I truly appreciate it. I knew she had other patients to see but Caitlin responded, "You are my priority now and I am here for you." Caitlin didn't realize how much she meant to me and how comforted she made me feel. I wanted to recognize her kindness and compassion and doing a fantastic job.
