March 2022 Honoree
Caitlin Ross, RN
Caitlin has been amazing in answering questions for me. And getting things done. She is one of the most pleasant and upbeat nurses I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The last 2 nights they have been short-staffed, and she has had to take on patients along with her other duties. She still does not miss a step. She always has a smile and a very uplifting attitude. She took the time to stop and talk to me. Along with constantly checking my needs and pain level. This may not seem like a huge act of kindness for some. However, I was NPO from 8 am-7 pm. The kitchen was no longer supplying trays, so she took her time to walk down to the cafeteria and find me something that was allowed on my diet and brought it to me. She could have just brought me a cold sandwich but she knew I was getting hungry and went out of her way to make me comfortable after my procedure. She has just been a bright blessing even before she was my nurse. She loves her job, and it shows. I have been in and out of hospitals for 26 years. And Nurses like Caitlin make the process not so bad. I can’t explain how much kindness is appreciated.
Thank you, Caitlin, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
