Caitlyn Barbier, RN

Caitlyn had a mental disability patient from the floor who was really upset before coming down for surgery, and she took the time to discover what the patient related to or liked. The patient loved music. She brought the patient to surgery, played their favorite music that kept the patient relaxed and joined the patient in conversation with the music. The patient glimmered. Her love for humanity goes beyond the qualities of being an exceptional nurse. She always shows empathy, compassion, and patience for her patients.
