Caitlyn is always positive in a profession that has many opportunities to become overwhelmed. As a fairly new nurse, I am forever grateful for Caitlyn's immensely gracious replies when I have asked her countless questions. Even if I asked the same questions more than once, she is very reliable in giving a cheerful reply in a helpful spirit. Caitlyn sets the tone for new nurses coming aboard to be encouraged and strengthened by her patience and welcoming, gentle manner. 

Caitlyn is deserving of the honor of a DAISY Award, because not only has Caitlyn been a light of joy for me and her patients, but she also makes it a point after almost every shift to leave handwritten notes of encouragement to her fellow coworkers! I know she brings joy to all those she works with. Caitlyn eagerly but quietly looks for reasons to thank someone for the little things they do, but is shown little appreciation for them otherwise. We should all strive to have Caitlyn's heartfelt thoughtfulness for others. She embodies the care and compassion that a DAISY Nurse should have, and our corner of the world is better off with her in it.
