I would like to nominate Caitlyn Strubinger, because of her compassionate nature - she was comforting and patient even though I was in a lot of pain post-surgery. Being in this much discomfort can cause a person to be very demanding. This did not bother her, she was kind and patient with me - she also shared her Christian beliefs with us as we asked about the crucifix above the door in our room at St. Francis Hospital. She answered all my questions too. If she didn't know, she found out and reported back to us. She kept me informed of plans for my care and discharge. If I could have picked my own nurse I would have picked her - She is true model to the nursing profession! God Bless her!

From the moment we entered the Post-op 3 West Caitlyn was amazing! We had a not so pleasant experience involving prior staff and Caitlyn listened to our concerns and addressed them with the utmost professionalism, care, and compassion. Caitlyn was our day shift nurse for both days and was always eager to help make sure our needs, questions, and concerns were met. Caitlyn showed exemplary care and empathy during a crucial time in our family's lives and dutifully deserves recognition for her passion towards helping patients feel thoroughly comfortable from a medical standpoint to the knowledge standpoint. Wish more nurses were as down to earth and loving as Caitlyn!
