For the first time in my life, I had to undergo back surgery, and I was incredibly nervous. Thankfully, I had the support of Nurse Cale, who was exceptional from start to finish. He was not only helpful and respectful but also incredibly personable, which made a world of difference. Cale took the time to explain each step of the process in detail, patiently answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. Since I have a 3-month-old at home, I needed to express breastmilk before the procedure. Cale went out of his way to ensure I had the privacy and time I needed, which showed his attention to the personal aspects of patient care. After surgery, he carefully explained the at-home care to my husband and me, making sure we understood each step and felt prepared. He even wheeled me out and made sure we were all set to get home in time for our kindergartener's Halloween parade, a detail he remembered from earlier conversations! Cale embodies all the qualities of an outstanding nurse, from compassion and empathy to clear communication and meticulous attention to detail. He made an anxious experience much more manageable, and I am grateful for his exceptional care.
