She laughed with us and was very empathetic to our concerns.
Caley introduced herself with a caring smile and a comfortable take charge confident manner. She carefully explained everything she was doing & what was happening & going to happen, why & risks. We felt very confident in the care she was giving my father. He was in so much pain & was cold, has very sensitive thin skin, heart issues and very hard of hearing. She raised her voice so he could hear her but was still kind. The way she explained things to us was kind- very thorough & seemed to me she would make a great teacher. She laughed with us and was very empathetic to our concerns, and she explained procedures to us well. How they may work & what was next if they didn’t. None of the procedures in the ER were effective & she prepared us for that possibility. We still felt comfortable and confident in Dad's care, but we had to leave her care to go to another floor for further care.

Caley is by far one of the best nurses I’ve ever known or had interaction with. My husband was a patient this evening and Caley made us feel so at ease upon arrival to our room. She explained thoroughly everything that was happening step by step. She kindly answered all questions we had. She is very smart and she is definitely in the right vocation. Pretty sure she would also be an excellent teacher. She treated me and my husband with the utmost respect & was very careful, gentle & kind in my husband’s care as he has very poor skin and a recent back injury, bad heart… There’s not enough room to tell all we feel. Thank you, Caley, thank you.
