Callie, for all your friends and family who know you and have been in your world forever, I'm sure they know how lucky, fortunate, and blessed they are. But, I want the world to know just what a huge blessing you are to me. I've had the privilege of having you as my nurse on some of my worst days and for that, I'm grateful and believe God had our days planned that way. I don't think I've really ever experienced the level of professional and personal care you gave. To say, I was very impressed by your level of knowledge being a relatively young nurse is an understatement. But, the empathy you express for your patients is not something learned from a textbook or can be taught in a clinical setting. You went above and beyond the call of duty day after day for me while doing the same for all your other patients. Some people choose to be nurses, some are CHOSEN. I believe you faithfully answered your calling and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart (or lungs if I could breathe deep enough to reach the bottom of those suckers too). You're a one of a kind girl!! BTW, the milkshake was da bomb. And I'm still here, but hopefully, in the morning I will be gone.
Callie had a very compassionate demeanor. Went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. She definitely cares about her patients and it shows.
