Being a college president, then a full-time faculty for 50 years, I am quite familiar with younger individuals ages 18 to 30. Also, in my last 33 years in higher education, I taught marketing, recognizing the importance of customer, client, and patient care.  I start with the above narrative to commend one of your excellent nurses. From his very friendly, professional, and helpful welcome when he came on his evening shift, he displayed a caring and concerning trait not very often received at this level in the patient care area. He was thorough in his explanation of what processes and medical tasks would be done and also very helpful with questions and slight concerns I had. His three or four visits were very helpful, professional and surpassed my expectations which is what satisfying patients is all about. I had a slight accident which he handled very professionally and pleasantly. It appears his work ethic and involvement with staff and patients are beyond excellent. Calogero’s enthusiasm, personality, and going above and beyond are sincerely appreciated. I certainly hope he continues his education as a nurse practitioner. Reading Hospital and Tower Health are commended for hiring such a person.
