Cameron is a kind and considerate nurse who is always there to help. He has helped me as a new nurse through some very stressful and scary moments. I know that I can trust his advice and guidance in any patient matter. He is always willing to help even when busy himself. He remains calm and collected under pressure. He always treats both patients and co-workers with the utmost respect.

As a new nurse, it is extremely important to have someone you can go to for help and advice. Cameron is that for me and many of the other new nurses of the unit. Thank you, Cameron!

My father is in the ICU. I wanted to nominate his night nurse Cameron for a DAISY Award. Since my father is COVID-19 positive I am unable to come in. Cameron has been very sympathetic and helpful to my family over the past few nights. He was attentive and took the time to carefully explain my father’s condition to us in terms we can easily understand. Cameron seemed to really love his job and made my family and I feel at ease that he is getting the best care from the doctors and himself. It can be scary having your loved one in the ICU and not being able to be there to ensure their wellbeing and that they are getting the best care. Cameron put our minds at ease. We felt extremely grateful to have him as a part of my father’s care team. I appreciated his positivity towards my father’s improvements. He was truly the best nurse we have ever had. Thank you!
