December 2025 Honoree
Cameron Fournelle, RN
I was transferred here from Sharon Regional in the ICU for 11 days. My hair hadn’t been washed or brushed in all that time. Cameron went and found a brush and a special cap to wash it, and then helped me brush it out. My hair is long and was a mess. After 11 days, I couldn’t hold my arms up long enough to do it. Then it was time to start the prep for the upper and lower GI. I had to drink that gallon of fluid. He stayed with me and encouraged me on, then after it was drunk, I was stuck on the potty for another hour hour ½, I couldn’t move. Basically, I had a hip replacement 6 months ago and couldn’t get up, so he very gently got me up. Every time I used the buzzer, he would be there very promptly. He is very thorough in explaining procedures, medications, and general questions. Cameron is my favorite!
Thank you, Cameron, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
