On Friday, Cameron floated to the OB/GYN Unit on an extremely stressful shift to serve as our much-needed resource that day. Her positive attitude was what ALL OF US needed. She was so helpful and took the burden off all of us that day not only because of her excellent attention to detail, but for her knowledge and ability to easily complete all tasks asked of her that day. She actually saved the entire floor from drowning that day; she was the life raft that swooped in and saved us all. 

Cameron makes everyone feel special - patients, staff, family members, etc. She is able to easily enter a stressful situation and troubleshoot with flawless execution. 

Cameron demonstrates ethical and moral care for each patient she encounters while in our unit. Her honest behaviors are noticeable and appreciated each time she works with us. 

Cameron creates a healing environment as soon as she steps on the floor. Several of the nurses on our unit specifically ask for her whenever we ask for a supplemental nurse. Her caring attitude is literally next level, and we could all learn to be more like her.

Cameron chooses to see the bright side of every situation. She was the buzz around our unit after the shift came to an end. So much so that many of us took the time to tell our manager about how much better she made our shift. Cameron treats every human being as an individual and you feel like the only person in the room when she is speaking to you. 

Cameron, just by being herself, is defined as a shining star and a true beacon of light. There is no way to adequately describe the way her presence resonates with us as fellow Nurses and CNAs. Thanks to Cameron, I found myself reflecting on my own attitude and nursing practice. She is truly a remarkable nurse and sets the bar as high as it can go with respect to professionalism and choosing your attitude. Calling a “code Cameron” should be a thing. She is THAT incredible.
