Camille was my nurse in the cath lab. I was in the hospital for a pacemaker and had to spend the night. From the time we arrived in the cath lab, she made us feel at ease. She explained everything that was going to happen in detail and made friendly conversation that helped relieve our tension. Camille was very personable and professional. When the procedure was done, she took us back to my room. When we got there, she noticed the soiled wet bed linens had not been changed and took it upon herself to get fresh linens and partially changed the bedding so that I would be comfortable. Before she left to return to the cath lab, she made sure we had everything that we needed. We were told that I needed to use a sling, but my nurse didn’t have one, so they called the cath lab. Camille brought a sling down when she had time because the box wouldn’t fit into the air tube system.

Camille is a rockstar in nursing. The level of care she provides her patients is unremarkable and outstanding. Considering the dark situations in our hospitals, before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, she is a bright light that we were lucky enough to share. We just want to take the time to recognize her excellence in nursing and to say, “thank you!” Camille is an asset to have as a nurse and healthcare professional. We hope that she has a long future with Banner.
