I was admitted to the hospital through the ER with cellulitis dog bite and major MVA. The 1st night I was in holding in the ER then for 4 days more with only a curtain separating all the patients being held there. The last couple of days I was on this horrible unit I was lucky enough to have Camille as my nurse. I was in a strong depression with little pain control and not one person to talk with. She took time knowing how fragile I was and showed me compassion and kindness and she actually smiled while talking with me. I was emotional and crying. She talked with me when no one else did and gave me a shoulder to cry on. She went so far beyond what was required of her. I wasn't able to sleep with all the noise since I only had a curtain. She took the time and helped me relax and realize I needed to take care of myself more and if I did my body would heal. If not for her I would have been in deep depression. Please thank her with all my heart she helped change my future outlook on life and I have a second chance with hopefully a life that I can give back. Smile, life is wonderful.
