Camille Escalona 2, RN

My very first encounter with Camille was when I had soiled myself and damaged the dressing on my bed sore. She wasted no time cleaning me and changing my dressing. I assumed she was my CNA; it wasn't until later that I discovered she was the Charge Nurse. I have been hospitalized several times and have never witnessed a Charge Nurse dig in like that, willing to do the down-and-dirty tasks. Camille is an inspirational person who leads by example. UMC could not ask for a better Charge Nurse. My admiration for her is off the charts. She doesn't spend her time behind the desk. She is here, there, everywhere. It is understandable why she is respected by other staff. Camille, thanks for your service!
