August 2014 Honoree
camille joseph, RN
Kindness and compassion, sometimes in the littlest form, can make all the difference for someone. No matter how it comes - a smile in passing, a shoulder to lean on, a calm voice to sooth - it's the care from within that makes the difference. For one patient, the care Camille Joseph, RN, showed was all she needed to get through a difficult time.
"I believe that empathy is one of the most important things a nurse can have, and she has demonstrated that over and over again," her nominated said. "This may be the last day with my [loved one], and Camille has made it easier for me. I appreciate that so much."

Thank you, Camille, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
