I was discharged after a triple bypass surgery that was successful and skillfully done by Dr. K. I was in the hospital for 7 days. During my stay, I noticed your "Mission Statement" on all the computer screens. On a prominent item on the list was "Patient Obsessed" quality of care. Nurse Cami Kercheval fulfills this treatment goal very professionally.
After 7 days of treatment, I was struggling due to lack of sleep and was exhausted and very ready to go home. Cami noticed it, took the time to talk to me personally and explain why certain procedures were needed and in my best interest. Her professional treatment combined with caring compassion helped me feel comforted and calmer. All of this was done even though I could hear the staff dealing with very serious medical situations on the floor and trying not to stress my room out while they handle urgent issues during the night.
Cami made the end of my stay and discharge as smooth as she could and the efforts, she made on my behalf are greatly noticed and appreciated. I thanked her at the moment but wanted to bring it to the management level as great care should be. I am home and doing well and wanted to pass this along in appreciation.
