When I did not know what to do, she helped me find the words to advocate for my boys. She was everything to us in the hospital.
Cammie was amazing from day 1 and loved us. It had already been a journey between being on mandated bed rest, being in active labor every other day for 6 days, giving birth, and being in the NICU. I found out we were in the NCCU and were able to stay with our twin boys (our M&Ms as we call them). Cammie was our first night nurse. She was amazing. She gave us information. Stayed with us. Encouraged me and helped me breastfeed (honestly taught me more about lactation than I ever expected). Cammie was with us almost every night. The nights she was not with us, she got updates on my boys and came back the next day ready to talk about them. Cammie not only provided AMAZING care for them, but she did for us as well. She allowed us to sleep through the night. She encouraged me to go home and rest when she saw I was so fatigued. I could barely function. She cried with me and she prayed with me. She was there for my boys but also there for me. When I did not know what to do, she helped me find the words to advocate for my boys. She was everything to us in the hospital. Cammie was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond every day to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. I will NEVER forget her.
