We nominate Camilla for extraordinary skills and excellence. She recognized a baby in distress early and implemented our new CCHD (Critical Congenital Heart Disease)screening right away doing the pre and post sats protocol. This baby was given an echo following the new guidelines and found to have a suspected congenital heart defect. Baby was transported downtown, due to the actions of this talented RN. The baby's life was saved. We are all amazed and so grateful to work with a nurse who cared that much.
