June 2020 Honoree
campbell duffy, RN, BSN, OCN, CHPN
It's taken a couple of months to write this because it's been so hard trying to put into words what all the nurses on 4B mean to my family and I! Their compassion and constant support in the face of what they see every day is incredible!
I will tell you that nobody embodies this more than Campbell. It's difficult to single out one incidence. She is an absolute ray of sunshine every day. During 3 weeks when I would check back in for chemo she was there to give me a hug when I came off the elevator. I was in the hospital at the time of "Light the Night" and she made sure she walked with me as the hospitalized patients made their rounds on the 4th floor. You can't train the character and compassion that all these nurses exhibit. My time at PSL was made so much better because of Campbell's presence. We can't thank her enough!
