Camra was loud, hysterically funny, and ready to scoop us up in her arms and love us.
Being diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and being told that a stem cell transplant was the only way to survive was devastating. When Camra burst into our hospital room on the fifth floor, she took our breath away and then gave it back to us. She was loud, hysterically funny, and ready to scoop us up in her arms and love us.

We met Lauren soon after when she came to tell us her own leukemia story. She was kind, encouraging, and full of much-needed information. What a gift of hope she gave us - that it is possible to survive this nightmare and thrive.

Although they were always masked, they were two of the most beautiful angels we had ever seen. Their wings were tucked underneath their scrubs. What the two of these nurses did for us was priceless - we were drowning.
