The pandemic created fear for everyone, especially the healthcare team. Nurse Candace bravely volunteered to do an endoscopy on a patient who needed urgent care. She said, “If no one will do this, who will? The patient needs me most, especially this time”. The patient was thankful that a nurse addressed her needs, though there is a risk due to COVID. Her determination, compassion, and commitment to her profession are remarkable.
