Candace has made every second of my stay a great experience. Here are eight reasons why she's a special nurse:
She cares for all of her patients.
Candace always makes sure I'm feeling okay.
She's there to immediately cheer me up. She can brighten your mood with just a smile.
When she's finished with everything, she'll come to my room and play games.
Candace makes sure I'm on track. She helps me get out of bed to do my physical and occupational therapy.
She'll take me to the garden so I can get out of the room for a little sunlight.
When I need someone to talk to, Candace is an excellent listener.
She's an all-around amazing person.
Candace's nursing leadership team added: Candace recently celebrated her 10-year anniversary on the Surgical Neurosciences Unit. She joined JHACH as a patient care technician and completed the RN residency program one year later. Candace is a true advocate and exemplifies service standards in her daily practice. Her positive can-do attitude and levelheadedness in stressful situations allow her to listen and serve as a voice for patients and families. Candace's willingness, exceptional assessment skills and clear communication provide a conducive learning atmosphere for new staff. We are extremely lucky to have her as a member of our team.

Thank you, Candace, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
