Last year is when I first met this nurse, my angel. I believe I had 2 full days and then a half. I am always a patient patient. She talked to me as if she's known me for years. She listened to my concerns and fears. I am very prideful so for this woman to come in and break down barriers, she's so genuine and I can tell when people are fake. Never her! This time I had been in the hospital for two weeks and was having heavy chest pains and was so tight! The hospital was sending me home and I had a panic attack at the thought of going home- she stepped up and told them I was afraid because of how I felt. For her to hear my fears and concerns made me feel like I had a voice. By her doing what she did I know advocating is number one! She helped me find my voice in the hospital. She never changed since November. She is attentive and caring. I rarely come across a nurse like her. She educates her patients constantly! She deserves this award! She stood up when I could not. Thank you!
