I went for a "routine" colonoscopy but had a very hard time. I had an incomplete prep when I came in for the procedure because I had been vomiting. Nurse Kittipaibulsak spent 6 hours with me doing extra prep and being very soothing, gentle, and supportive (all with good humor). And it was a traumatic day. I was scared and exhausted, then things went wrong with the procedure and I had atrial fibrillation. Candice was again at my side when I came out to help make me feel safe.
She made a very difficult experience so much easier because of her compassion, competence, and unflagging excellent care.
