Candy was caring for a patient who was an avid reader but is now visually impaired and unable to read. Candy reached out to connect the patient with services/resources for the visually impaired/blind. The patient was supplied with head phones and audiobooks at no cost. This patient is so appreciative that he can still enjoy books despite his visual challenge, thanks to Candy Gregory. Although Candy is in the Float Pool, she still cared enough for the patient on F7, to go above and beyond to provide compassionate care.
